Early childhood education facilities for Palestinian communities in Hebron  and the surrounding region of the occupied West Bank are few and far between because of the restrictions imposed by Israel’s illegal military occupation. Where they do exist, they are often inadequate.

In previous years the Festival of Friendship has been our major fundraiser to support early education facilities for Palestinian communities in the South Hebron Hills. Since 2013  we have been running an annual Trivia with a Cause evening to continue to support education projects in Hebron and its surrounds.

Since 2010, Friends of Hebron has supported the building of a number of kindergartens, remuneration of early childhood teachers and an education access project.  Read more here for details of Friends of Hebron projects.
